The Masterworks Reading Orchestra Consists of interested musicians from in and around North Carolina. The purpose is to provide a venue for the musicians to play great music that is not normally programed. The second purpose is to allow the musicians to keep their "chops" up throughout the summer months when opportunities are slim. The rehearsals will be held at East Chapel Hill High School from 7:15PM and run til as late as 9:45PM on Tuesdays beginning May 31 2011.

East Chapel Hill High School is located at 500 Weaver Dairy Road in Chapel Hill. 15-501 to Erwin Road turn right and then turn left onto Weaver Dairy Road; go to the next light turn right into the school campus and make an immediate right; Follow the road to the end (beware of two speed bumps). You’ll have the backside of the bleachers on your right and the school on your left. Directly across the point between the end of the bleachers and the field house (Gate 1), you will see a paved walkway that passes between two trailers. At the end of the walkway is the door that will take you to the band room – second door on the left.
